Why Drivers with Loud Music in Cars Dont seem to Care about Fellow Drivers health or happiness?
I have my radio on at a normal volume, i listen to radio talk shows or nice music BUT THEN all these a****s in their fancy cars surround me at stop lights or even when not at stop lights..with their stereo sub woofer systems BOOM BOOM BOOM.. So loud and painful. And they don't care..
Some of us have ear problems and even if we don't
1) we CAN GET Earproblems from that loud noise 2)we want to listen to our own music. why are we not allowed
Why are these people so cruel and think nothing of it?
Many of the ones with loud music are Hip hop/rap listeners by the way.
I'm 29 male with an ear problem called Hyperacusis and Tinnitus

In my college years, I finally figured this one, and similar situations of loud music, out.
They enjoy their music SO MUCH that they wish to SHARE it with the ENTIRE WORLD… regardless whether or not the world desires to hear it.
The world is filled with loud noise, expected and unexpected. I carry earplugs with me nearly everywhere I go because you never know when you might be subjected to noise which can be damaging.
I ALWAYS wear earplugs when I go to the movie theatre because they invariably play the sound WAY TOOOOOOOOOO LOUDLY! I have NEVER missed one moment of dialogue or other sound in the movie. The plugs simply tone DOWN the level.
Damage to one's ears is PERMANENT. Once it's gone… it's GONE.
Did you know that the actors, Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, from the old Star Trek tv series, both suffer from tinnitus due to damage from the series… explosions, etc. They have banded together and, for years, have been promoting hearing safety in Hollywood so that other actors, and "technicians" don't suffer the damage they have.
Have a polite day.
No respect or care of others. That rap crap is the most senseless noise I've ever heard.
its same reason people put loud pipes on there exhaust it's a way to be noticed
Our society has become very disrespectful and devoid of values. We (supposedly) live in a free society; everyone thinks they are free to do whatever they want, regardless of others. In the dark ages when I was in school, my government teacher told us "your freedom stops where my nose begins." I would think that applies to ears as well.
I'm 29 too and I remember being a teenager back in the '90s and that it was cool to have your a good loud system in your car. But I have to say that style is really played and I can't stand it either anymore. In fact I think I stopped being impressed by guys with loud systems by the time I was 19.
I think its just a cry for attention but now I really think those people are a$$es!
A friend of mine once reacted to this idiot playing his stereo at volumes that would shatter glass – she yelled something at him that made me CRY laughing, and it worked because he turned it down and drove away as fast as he could!
She shouted: SORRY ABOUT YOUR PENIS!
god i know how you feel xD its just like a base that the people have installed (i think illegally) into their cars. but i kinda get used to it since my uncle has it in their car. most people turn in down when the police come around cause they will get tickets for something called noise pollution. my dad says its no big deal but my mom says it may get other driver say like senior drivers into a bad accident. there's been an accident where a senior lady was driving and some person was playing the base and she couldn't hear the ambulance and fire truck coming. she didn't get hit because the guy turned it off as soon as it came so she moved quickly. but you get it right, what if he didn't turn it off? god some people these days xD
