I am almost 38 weeks pregnant. I having been feeling restless all day and I have been doing nothing but getting everything ready for the baby. I have been washing his clothes, working in his room, washing his bottles, and packing his diaper bag. Right now I am feeling light headed. Is this a sigh of labor? If not do you know what it is? I am having contractions and have been all day but Im not sure if they are Braxton Hicks. Also, my mother-in-law said that women who are close to giving birth lips look swollen. She said mine did, my sister told me that yesterday and she never heard of what my mother-in-law said. Has anyone ever heard that? I know I sound like a scared kid and Im sorry….just kinda concerned. It is nothing to call the doctor over and there are plenty of helpful women on here. Thanks a bunch!!!

I’m on HCTZ for blood pressure. This morning I had about a 2 minute bout of light-headedness c/ accelerated pulse. Later in the day I had mild accelerated pulse and breathing a couple of times (as if I’d been running when I hadn’t). I had a couple of cups of hibiscus tea last night which I just learned has a diuretic effect– Are those symptoms consistent with low electrolytes?

I'm light headed quite often. I think that poor sleep patterns, low levels of physical fitness and poor choice of diet can all play a role. But, I was just wondering if there are other possible causes of light headedness, fatigueness, and low levels of awareness. I was also wondering, what are some ways I can feel better. Is there some kind of diet to go by or vitamins I could take that would help? Could I take medication to stop light headedness and fatigueness?

Anyone knows anything about vertigo, like what causes, treatment? Help please.
