I was listening to music about 5 days ago from today and i have noise canceling headphones. i noticed that the left side of the headphones was a little low. so after i was done i heard a ringing in my left ear. i thought it was nothing but still hear it today i can hear it everywhere even when i plug my ears its like its in my head… can someone pleeeeeaaaaasee help??????????what should i do?????????

I am doing a project at school and I have to make a war scene. I decided to make it a 1st person video and a need a sound effect like the ringing in your ears in call of duty. I appreciat (sorry for bad spelling) your help.

If you have ever had a busted eardrum, Did you ears heal and did the ringing stop? If so how long after you hurt your eardrum.

I have faint ringing in my left ear. I also have that muffled feeling that you get right before your ears start to ring. It’s giving me a headache.

Before it started happening, my back and my neck started to hurt real bead so I moved and moved my head to ease off the pain. I don’t remember cracking my neck or back so I most likely didn’t.

What do you think is causing this discomfort in my ear?

I was at a party yesterday and after i left my ears were ringing. I guess it was because the music was LOUD. I went to sleep and its still ringing. What i hear is : reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….
How long is this going to last?

Had seen a specialist on this but with no avail. Just wonder any one who can advise me whether I can go the swimming pool to dip right in so that the water will flood my ear to ease the ringing sound.
Pls help as it is disturbing my sleep and I cannot be consulting doctor who checked my hearing is ok and it seems that the only I can do is listening to CD to overcome this disturbances.

When I was younger (in my teens), I used to go to concerts and shows all the time. They were often incredibly loud (which was great, I’m not complaining). I would sometimes wake up the next morning with my ears "ringing" but I didn’t care because I was just an idiot kid, and it would usually go away by the second day thereafter. At its worst, I would have some residual effects by the end of the 2nd day after, but never by the third.

I’m now 27. I went to a show this past Friday, and was right near the speaker. When I went to bed later Friday night, and woke up Sat morning, my left ear was ringing terribly, and I couldn’t hear out of it very well. Unlike 10 years ago, it hasn’t seemed to get better quickly – now 3 days later, it’s still sort of buzzing out of that ear.

Anyone with medical knowledge want to hazard a guess as to whether this will get better? If so, how long will it take? And is there anything I can do about it?

It was lllooouuud, I was right up against the barrier, but my left ear recovered quick and my right ear is still muffled and ringing. It’s rather disorienting.
Is there any way to cure it, and is there any reason only one ear rings?

shot several clips without ear protection. I’m 14 years old and this was the first time i shot a gun. the ringing is in both ears. and was very loud for the first 5-6 hours then i slept and it went to ringing every couple of hours for about 30 seconds. i then went to a concert and it is back slightly.

My left ear is ringing and it’s driving me insane. The weird though is that when I play music or ear something it stops but when its quiet and theres no music it rings. Also when I breathe in it stops.

It doesn’t hurt or anything its just annoying.

About 10 minutes ago I was listening to really loud music in one of my ears from an iPod. It was with one of those small headphones that fit inside your ear. Ever since my ears have been ringing like crazy, and It’s quiet where I am now. Whenever I plug my ears or sit still for a little while it gets worse. It’s starting to hurt, and I’m starting not to hear other outside sounds. Any temporary relief before I call a doctor?

I woke up at two thirty with a ring in my left ear. Its been constantly changing volume since then. Is there anything i can do to get it to stop so i can sleep?

It just happened when i woke up, and its as bad as when i go to shows without ear plugs. But its also only my left ear, its really weird
