What is the difference between Meniere’s Disease and Positional Vertigo?
Or is it one and the same thing? Also why does one have to avoid eating cheese and chocolates?
Or is it one and the same thing? Also why does one have to avoid eating cheese and chocolates?
im only 16 and my doctor told me that this isnt normal for young people to have it. Ive been trying to cope with if for the past two years. Getting steriod shots and taking pills. Now that all of that is over they still couldnt get the buzzing to stop. I mean its not as loud as it was but its still there.
And how can i feel NOT embarrassed (sp?) when im "supposed" to wear my hearing aid (which doesnt do anything.. i mean it) around other high school kids??
I really need some advice…thanks!
Side note: this all started with me being underwater during a synchronized swimming meet.
I have Meniere's and I am wanting to know everything about it, as well as what kind of surgery is done to correct the hearing loss and vertigo. What is the recovery time with the operation? Is it painful? Are you put to sleep? Will it help the dizziness?
Help!
Can someone be diagnosed with Menieres Disease and yet has no hearing loss at all?
PS
I was diagnosed with Menieres, yet I don't have any hearing loss. I want to know if this is possible.
I have meniere's disease and was wondering if the altitude of flying will affect my symptoms? My worse side effect is dizziness only when I go off my strict diet.
