I was listening to music about 5 days ago from today and i have noise canceling headphones. i noticed that the left side of the headphones was a little low. so after i was done i heard a ringing in my left ear. i thought it was nothing but still hear it today i can hear it everywhere even when i plug my ears its like its in my head… can someone pleeeeeaaaaasee help??????????what should i do?????????

I have tinnitus and I get quite paranoid when listening to music, most of the times I turn the volume on fairly low as I don't want my tinnitus to get worse. What noise level is safe and wouldn't affect my tinnitus? I always hear that avoiding loud noises and sounds will relieve tinnitus, so what would be considered a loud noise? Thanks!

I've had Meniere's disease since I turned 14 and ever since my right ear has been ringing extremely loud + nonstop (I'm 20 now.) sometimes I can deal with it, and sometimes it goes for weeks at a time as very quiet. but lately it is blasting at full volume and I can't concentrate at all, I'm even losing sense of time, and listening to music or white noise just makes it louder.

I've noticed that it affects my mood, sometimes I will feel incredibly frustrated and depressed and wonder why, then realize it's because I'm bracing against it. I can't concentrate at all, can barely even think straight. it's hard to sleep is there anything I can do? I've been told that you can't treat tinnitus but seriously, any idea would be good. thanks

ear ringing due to cotton swabs?

For many years I have had the habit of cleaning my ears using soften Q-tips, and I never insert them up to the eardrum (because that would hurt). But recently I feel like my ears ring a lot (from listening to music and stuff), so do I need to see a doctor about this? Or am I just imagining it? Do I have an outer skin infection? Is this treatable?
