when you listen to your iPod too loud, too often you can develop this illness or condition.
I’ve found that over the past two years i’ve been having an occasional ringing in my ears which is getting worse each time it occurs…

How to get rid of ringing ears?

About 10 minutes ago I was listening to really loud music in one of my ears from an iPod. It was with one of those small headphones that fit inside your ear. Ever since my ears have been ringing like crazy, and It’s quiet where I am now. Whenever I plug my ears or sit still for a little while it gets worse. It’s starting to hurt, and I’m starting not to hear other outside sounds. Any temporary relief before I call a doctor?

I am semi-deaf in one ear and nned to control the left and right volumes seperately. I also sleep with them to mask humming sounds (tinnitus) in one ear. I connect it to my Ipod.Is there such a product? Thanks

i got tinnitus from listning to my ipod on full and now im scared to use it in fear of making the ringing louder. i have already turned on the sound check(which makes song 20% quieter) and i listen to it at 60% now with sony earbuds. is it ok to still enjoy music at that level? thanks

Ear Infection?

OK, here is the story … My ears have been ringing since either Saturday or Sunday, I thought is might have been from listening to my IPod too loud or playing Guitar too loud. But today and yesterday, my ears started hurting it doesn't seem that my hearing has changed, and I am going to the doctors tomorrow, but just to get an idea, would you say that I have an ear infection, or damage. I know I said I haven't noticed a difference in hearing, besides the ring, but could this be tinnitus or something of that nature?
Btw the lymph nodes in my throat feel somewhat swollen …

How long does this ear ringing last?

so i was without headphones for my ipod for like 4 months and i just bought some more this week. i was listening to to it for like 2 hrs straight with the volume at max. so i took the headphones and out, and there has been a ringing in my ears for like the last 20 min. i know its because of the high volume, but is it suppose to last this long..how long does it last?

Would it cause permanent hearing loss? Would it cause hearing loss significant enough for you to notice it? I'm doing a report on ipods and hearing loss in teens but I can't seem to find any data on hearing loss per hour. Please Help! I only listen to my ipod about 1/5 the volume and not for long periods of time, will I experience hearing loss?

ok well i have tinnitus from going to shows every other week locally and i wised up pretty quickly and i put toilet paper in my ears which really helps with how loud it is. the noise is bearable now but i would like to know how much twice a monthe concerts could do to my hearing in the future. when i went to shows before my tinnitus i would have ringing in the ears for about 3 days because i didn't have anything protecting my ears, now i have hardly any ringing other than my normal tinnitus for about an hour. anyone give me any other details regarding to hearing safety and what i should expect to be able to hear when i am older?

btw i do listen to my ipod about an hour at about 2/5's the way up and i listen to music fairly loud in my car for about 30 minutes a day.
