What should I do about my ear ringing?

I have had a ringing in my ear for about a week. My brother has just had an ear infection that made him lose 90% of his hearing in his ear and I visited him and the next day this started. I’m in Maryland where it snowed 2 feet. I had an appointment on Friday that was canceled, I have an appointment today that was canceled. I don’t have health insurance. I don’t know if there are any home remedies or not and if I should go to the emergency room or wait out the weather until tomorrow (hopefully).

The Best Home Remedies for Ear Aches?

Do you know of any home remedies for eczema?

I have horrible eczema on my arm. It is driving me insane. I take a daily antihistamine, and I moisturize constantly. I don’t use soaps or lotions that are scented. I’m doing all of the "right" things, but it isn’t going away.

I recently moved, and I discovered that no one in my area takes my medical insurance…thus no prescription steroid creams for me. The OTC steroid creams don’t work at all.

Does anyone have ANY suggestions?

Thanks so much!

Over the past couple of weeks I have barely been able to go, This is a serious question, I have searched the web. I can’t find anything. I don’t have insurance so I can’t go to my doctor. I have been going once every 7 days. I am taking fiber pills, but they don’t seem to be helping. Any ideas? I’ve been under a lot of stress lately, they say that can make you constipated, but I don’t even feel like I need to go. I need advise.

Home remedies for a bladder infection?

I'm almost positive that I have a bladder infection. I can't go to the doctor because I don't have insurance, but My mother swears by Cranberry Juice… she says it will clear it up in a week or two. The only problem is, I can't stand cranberry juice, it's way to tart. Does anyone have any other home remedies I might be able to try?

My husbands snoring really is ruining our marriage. i am not getting sleep in fact i am getting physically ill from not getting enough rest. I know there is a procedure that docs can do where they put the little plastic things in the throat to hold the flap up that makes all the noise but insurance will not cover it and he is too cheap to pay the 00 or even make payments on it. (we can afford it) Anything else you know of that helps? Even a combo of things….anything would help! I cannot wear earplugs either cause I have tinnitus and need to be able to hear my fan to drown out the ringing on my ears and the one time i did try ear plugs I could still hear him. Yes, he really is that loud!

My bro has no insurance so he can't go to doctor. He has strep troath and needs some home remedies that won't hurt his cirrhosis of the liver?

I've been using the usual over the counter ear drops but nothing. It unclogs it a little but the ringing remains. It's been a week or two at least. I'm constantly getting this problem. Is it from all of the loud music I listen to or am I not getting shampoo out enough? I've heard so many causes. What could it be and is it dangerous? Will I go deaf?

I don't have health insurance so I can't go see a doctor.

I was rearended by a teen talking on her cell phone. Suffer whiplash etc. Prior to the accident I did not have high blood pressure or tinnitus. A specialist at the Clinic ran tests. Test prooves hearing loss gap of high frequencies where people with this "dip" suffer tennitis. Finally a test prooves I was really hurt. But both technician and doctor immediately said they can not confirm it was caused by the accident? Doctor was a real jerk. talking about how many people suffer from tinnitus and there is no cure. Told me to put my radio on FM at night between channels. I am already going out of my skin from the nonstop buzzing in my ear. I will go nuts if I listen to off station noises. The doctor was so quick to dispute liability for the accident. I did not have buzzing in my ears before the accident. I would have gone to the docs. Then he said maybe I would have woken up in five years with tinnitus any way. I am in my late 50's. I was never exposed to loud noises prior to the accident to cause hearing loss. Why would the doctor screw up my chances for a settlement? Her insurance company has been paying the Clinic's bills for PT and doctor visits including ER visit.

A few things could be causing this, and I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. It started last night, and when I woke up in the middle of the night it was still ringing, as well as this morning. Getting a Doctor to check this out isn't an option due to lack of insurance, lack of local audiologist, etc
.
1.) About a month ago I was involved in a car accident, and I read that whiplash can cause ringing in the ears, plus I was given 300 mg of Ibuprophen. I woke up with the ringing about a week and a half after the accident, but it cleared up later that morning.
2.) I was given a perscription for flagyl for a bacterial infection I had, and then after I finished that, a week later came down with a sinus infection and was given azythromycin. I also read that antibiotics can cause this ringing, and it's not often I take 2 courses of antibiotics back-to-back.
3.) Probably not likely, but on Saturday I got my second hole in my ears peirced. The lobe, not anything else.
4.) I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and am on birth control and spironalactione as a diuretic. I read also about how these can cause it.
5.) Friday night I was out with a friend and we went to a club and when we left, our hearing was a little fuzzy. I haven't had that since middle school as this was the first time I'd ever been to a club, and the first time I'd been around loud music like that since like, 8th grade (I'm 23).

Is it most likely a combination of all of these things, and should I be worried?

Several years ago critical case of encephalitus. Only injury is Short term memory loss and this constant ringing in ears. Sometimes increases in loudness.
