She is a PET rat. She didn’t mean to, she was just exploring. But it is almost 2 hours later and my ear is ringing burning throbbing and that side of my head is aching. She bit my ear lobe, like where my ears are pierced. What should I do?
in the affected ear pour saline solution and let it remain for 10 min, afterwards drain it out. (They never said how make this solution at home).
Another one is
Two to three drops of onion juice when poured into the ear also help the condition
Another one is
Take 300 mg. a day of Coenzyme Q10 (Seem to high of a dose to take)
Finally
Ginkgo biloba Tablets. (Does not tell you how much to take)
I am cautious about putting onion juice in my ear. I do have a rare severe reaction to yucca extract. (Yucca extract is used if some drinks to make it foam more, mainly fruit drinks).
Can Tinnitus be caused by the normal flu (No I didn’t have h1n1 confirmed by the test and the doctor). This normal flu turned into bronchitis and than I got Tinnitus. I had my ears cleaned out and still have the buzzing. The noise is really annoying.
I would like to hear from people who tried any of these methods and did it work? Thank you.
I wasn’t that close but after a girl let out a death-curdling scream my ears started ringing. It has been 18 hours so far. I know I have ear damage and next time I will definitely wear ear plugs. How long must I wait?
I would like answers from doctors, but I don’t want to hear that it’s hopeless. There must be some way to stop or at least reduce that hideous ringing sound in my ears. I find it very hard to believe that in our modern times there is still no specific treatment for tinnitus and I am willing to try anything even if it’s not scientifically proven. So here’s my specific situation…
For a few weeks now I have had constant tinnitus which came out of nowhere, accompanied by "popping" sounds in my ears when I swallow or yawn, a weird feeling in the back of my throat I can’t really explain, and occasional mild headaches.
During this time I have only been able to get to sleep at around 5am, because that’s when the birds come out and tweet in the morning (Helping to distract me from the hideous ringing noises). Because of this I have been losing valuable hours of sleep, which doesn’t help me. So here are my questions…
Q1: Is it best to use tinnitus-masking CDs containing natural sounds, like rain and waves, or are plain old white noise CDs more effective?
Q2: What foods or dietary changes can I make to reduce tinnitus?
Q3: If my tinnitus is NOT noise-induced, can loud noise still make it worse?
Q4: If I’m listening to music, which audio formats are best to listen to through headphones, i.e. are low-bit rate MP3s bad for the ears? What sound format is safer?
Q5: Since my tinnitus hasn’t gotten any better in the last few weeks, is it likely that I will become a permenant sufferer?
Thank you for taking the time to read. I have had tinnitus my whole life to a certain degree, but never this bad. Any advice you could give would be delightful.
I’m in my high school drumline and we kept practicing a part in our music that that a ton of rim shots. After that my ears gradually starting ringing and now overnight they still are. I can tell a difference between my hearing in my right eat compared to my left.
What should I do? I do not want to lose partial hearing in my ear.
“Meeting at order!” Beren’s voice reverberated throughout the room. The sudden noise made my ever-changing skin go from Earthly tan to Elvin purple. Beren hit the gavel against the desk three times to earn our complete awareness. “Andricka,” Beren called.
A petite little girl stood up. Her hair was a sky blue color, and closer inspection showed me that her eyes were as well. Though, she had specks of white in them—symbolizing clouds. He attire was a lime green shirt, with dark blue shorts—they had a smiley face on them. As the turned to look at Beren, I caught a glimpse of metal. Such a small girl had a lip ring! Not to mention that she had a mischievous smile on her lips the whole time. Yes, the name ‘Andricka’ fits her.
“Yes?” She answered. A collective gasp flowed around the room. She didn’t say Sir! To our surprise, cruel Beren smiled and pulled her into a hug. He whispered something incoherent to my keen ears. Andricka’s smile became more genuine and she clapped her hands together once.
“Say hello to your new Sergeant,” she said while waving.
DON’T CRITICIZE MY GRAMMAR! xD please and thank you.

Both my parents had their ears ringing permanently, but that started in their 30s, I’m 17. It stated on Thursday, and hasn’t let up since then. Is there anything I can do to make it stop, or at least lessen ?
1. For the last two weeks I’ve been having troubles with my ears. They both feel like they need to pop, but I cannot pop them. My right ear is really messed up, white noises hurt my ears, and I hear a loud ringing when tap water is running, or there’s static on the radio. When I watch TV I can hear sound effects out of my right ear, but voices are very, very faint. My left ear is fine, other than the feeling that it needs to pop. They are not dirty, I’ve tried cleaning them many times.
2. I’ve been really shaky lately, like the other day at dinner, it felt like my hand completely relaxed and my fork randomly fell out of my hand and I could not stop my pinkie from moving back and forth. and my muscles have random twitches everywhere in my body. Or I will be walking and my calves will randomly feel heavy. Also, I’ve been having random Pulses of numbness in my face, particularly in my cheeks, its very strange and feels like a bug crawling across my face.
3. I’m having difficulties falling asleep.
4. My heart will randomly start beating really strongly, and it’s almost as if I can feel all the blood moving throughout my body, with no anxiety or stressful situations. I will just be sitting there and randomly start to feel my heart beating really strong.
5. I get winded really easily in the last week. Climbing the stairs is a major feat. This is weird for me, because I’m not in top physical condition, but I’m not overweight or anything, so I don’t understand.
Are any of these related somehow? What do you think is going on? I’m really confused, and I don’t want to go to the doctor if there is nothing really overly wrong with me because I’m really uncomfortable going to the doctor. Does anyone know how I can fix any of these issues? or know why they are happening?
Sorrows Become Me
I remember clearly
Long ago and far away
You kissed my cheek tenderly
Whispered words I can’t say
You held me waiting
For my words to ring yours true
Caught just a breath away
Those words I’d surely rue
‘Good night,’ was my answer
To the love you’d expressed
Hurt you seemed
But I could expect nothing less
‘Good night…’ you said in sorrow
As you then turned to leave
Those words hammered in my ears
Demanding for release
I love you… I love you
More than life could know
I love you with all I could love you
But for fate, I could not show
I remember your soft sway
As you turned at your door
You smiled reverently then
And set my heart to soar
In that smile
Your love touched my soul
Silent promise
For my love untold
Years came slowly
In the warmth of your life
For every moment I cherished
Even times of strife
Though still caught by fear
Of what fate should do
If I so much as muttered
My dear, I love you…
I love you with all I could love you
And dare not utter a word
For fear the fates will hear me
And take you away for sure
‘I love you,’ you murmured
Soft words against my ear
Sleep then enfolded you
And I hugged you oh, so near
Each rise and fall against me
The beating of your heart
Love so amazing
But fate had its part
I watched you sleep beside me
The joy beyond mere words
Could fate really take you?
Could love be assured?
Soft rhythmic breathing
Fear overwhelmed by joy
I uttered it so silently
Fate heard not a noise
And surely as the days went by
And fate never stirred
Love, I thought, had made it through
Three little words…
I love you…
Dear God,
I love you…
And fate heard the lot
I love you with all I could love you
Those words… I never should
For fate readily heard me
And took you away for good
But even now, I remember
The smile that lit your eyes
Those words that I whispered
As I hugged you to my side
A smile so radiant
At my love spoken true
You were so elated
And thought you broke me through
But, dear one…
The moment I saw you
To this day today
I’ve loved you forever
Forever and always…
I love you with all I could love you
And should not have uttered a word
Fate so cruel and timeless
On those words are cursed
I find now I can whisper those words more freely
For I whisper those words alone
White rose in hand, I stare at your name
In the pillar made of stone…

My ears have been ringing for 1 day now for using a loud saw. how much longer will it last?
okay so i was cutting my food with a big knife and stabbed myself between my finger and thumb real quick, it stung, i looked at it & could see in my hand, turned around, stomach was turning, got pale white, had a ringing noise in my head, and when i began to explain to my bf what happened it felt like someone had their hands over my ears like my head was stuffed up or something. I laid down for a moment on the couch while he bandaged me up & I felt fine after just a few minutes.
now the loud ringing, stomach turning, stuffy head (someone had their hands over my ear feeling) and paleness has only happened once before when i was being intimate with my bf – he accidentally went in my [butt] – it hurt so much i just jumped up out of the bed and no sooner than i got to the hallway the feeling came over me, i laid back down in the bed (after some crying and extreme freaking out) and the feeling went away.
was it because of ’shock’?
Im 19 and went to a drum and base gig on Wednesday night. My left ear is still ringing today (Sunday) 3 and a half days later.
I know there is no cure for tinnitus and I know that I have done at least some permanent damage to my ears.
Can anyone tell me the liklihood of this being permanent and if not how long it may take to go away?
This is through the eyes of a third class boy on the TITANIC on the night of her sinking. I am not actually sure if a third class wall collapsed or not so please don’t hound me on that. I am also not sure if there was a boy named Patrick…so don’t Google it or anything hoping to find info on him
Upon further inspection, Patrick saw that the man in front of him held a look of pure agonizing terror on his young face. His blood shot sea-green eyes (an epiphany, perhaps?) bulged as he yelled at Patrick’s mum to get a lifebelt on immediately. Upon performing that task, she was to make her way to the main deck in complete haste. Patrick came upon the gross realisation of how dire the situation had become. This was when he first felt the pang of terror and the sense of danger that momentarily over whelmed him. The man in white eyed Patrick as he yelled almost unintelligibly. “And please, Alexandra. Do all that is in your power to save the young lad.” He pleaded Patrick’s mum, Alexandra, with his eyes before disappearing into the hall as quickly as he appeared. The steward was gone. The whooshing sound that Patrick had shoved to the back of his mind became much more apparent all of a sudden. He could smell the salty smell of the ocean and it was very similar to the smell of the blue water that that suspended the sailboat in the distant memories he futilely clung to.
The scene changed so abruptly, then. It went from entirely chaotic to unbearably tumultuous. In an instant, everything flashed before Patrick’s horror-srtuck eyes as his ears rang from the loud sounds. He couldn’t escape from them. Before he could reach to put his free hand to his ear in a feeble attempt to block the noise, something terrifying happened. The rusted white wall in front of him volleyed forward, sending a torrent of sea and metal hurling towards his unguarded face. As he flew backwards into the black abyss of the perpetually rising waters, his mind went dark, as did the lights of this once great ship.
I know there are some run on sentences. Minor problems that can be easily fixed. Any advice for me? I have a whole lot more on paper…but this is just a very tiny excerpt. Thanks for reading.
It’s been about a week or two and my ears have been ringing on and off. It’s not even a ring really, more of a vibration like hearing a bee. It’s weird and annoying and it keeps scaring me shitless. Any help?
