Muffled but faint ringing in left ear. Whats wrong?

I have faint ringing in my left ear. I also have that muffled feeling that you get right before your ears start to ring. It’s giving me a headache.
Before it started happening, my back and my neck started to hurt real bead so I moved and moved my head to ease off the pain. I don’t remember cracking my neck or back so I most likely didn’t.
What do you think is causing this discomfort in my ear?
I can hear out of my ear.

Your ear plays several vital roles in your health. Besides hearing, your ear regulates your balance. You might have heard the ear canal is the shortest route from the outside environment into your brain. This is a short route for infection or abscess.
The ringing you describe is sometimes called tinnitus. I cannot say that I have heard of a medical cause/cure for this condition. I am not a M.D. so do not take my word for it. However, think of the pain and ringing as your ear calling you to an E.N.T doctor, pronto.
It could be caused by a number of things ,,,,,Maybe just a vitamin deficiency,,,,but see a doctor immediately because if the ringing is so intense that it is giving you a headache "Don’t Ignore it because it could be something Very Serious."
