How do you train yourself to use a pillow?

I know it sounds odd, but my fiance tells me when she wakes up every morning, and looks over at me my head is off the pillow and in crooked at a 90 Degree angle…I go to sleep with my head on the pillow, but wake up with it off…and my body is in the same position, not any lower or anything…this causes my neck to have pain all day long…
any suggustions would be welcomed…

same used to happen to me. i used to like really skinny really firm pillows, and would notice when i had to sleep somewhere else, like my gf's who had all puffy pillows, i'd find my head on the bed in the morning instead of a pillow.
see if you can adjust to the really firm pillows first OR get a really soft pillow that ur head sinks into so that you cant really roll ur head off it.
I still have neck pains tho, but probably not as bad as yours.
