i dont think you can … you just have to wait it out
give it a couple days… i had a girl scream in my ear and it took 3 days to stop ringing. i was very worried. concerts arent as bad it wont take that long
you dont you wait and it will eventually go away or if you take a nap usually it helps me! good luck! hope this helps
Your ears have been damaged. It will take time.
I just shove a pillow into each ear.
Its perfectly normal, there is really nothig you can do to make the ringing stop except give it some time. Wait a day or two and it should go back to normal.
Nothing you can do. Had the same thing happen to me on Sunday after going to see a bar band on Saturday. It will go away, probably by the end of the day. It sure is aggravating though!!!
It will go away y itself, it happens to me all the time
Uhh, I think you’ll just have to wait for it to go away by itself.
If you are a regular gig-goer you’ll soon get used to it.
That’s your ear hairs dying..
At concerts I’ve seen people bring earplugs. The music is MIGHTY loud, I’m sure earplugs won’t ruin the experience.
you should go see a doctor or not be around any noise or sleep some more.
thats not normal, if they are ACTUALLY ringing!
It just takes time. Next concert, before you go it a cheap set of ear plugs from the pharmacy. That will help a lot.
chances are u will just have to wait a day or two and it will go away thats how it always works with me.
I usually have to wait for weeks for it to heal. Now I prevent the damage from even starting by stuffing toilet paper in my ears before the concert starts. You can still hear the performance as clear as can be. You would only have problems when trying to talk to friends.
I have a lot of experience with hearing loss and concert going…Ok so I went to a concert about 10 years ago, I was younger…And I ended up sitting right in front of a speaker…It took 2 weeks for the ringing to subside. Since then I’ve attended many concerts and sporting events and my hearing noticeably got worse and worse…I now wear ear plugs anytime I know i’ll be in a LOUD atmosphere…
My answer though is, time, but be careful and protect your hearing b/c once it’s gone it’s gone…Good luck!
You can’t. Go to sleep.
When you go to concerts you must be proactive in protecting your hearing. Buy some earplugs and wear them as soon as the music starts or you risk losing hearing with each concert you attend. Look at the members of the band on they stage they will all have earpieces in to block out their own loud music.
Ringing ears are due to a certain level of permanent damage to your ears. You can’t make it go away easily, but make sure you’re not in complete silence – when you’re going to sleep, for example, some quiet music will lessen how noticable it is.
Although it’s utterly un-cool, if you care about your hearing, try not to stand right in front of the speakers, or get some ear-plugs the next time you go to a gig!
It takes time Jannie but you need to stop and think about what you are doing to your hearing. Years of concerts and 20 years in the Air Force around jets has given me a permanent case of Tinnitus (ringing in the ears). I also have some partial hearing loss and wil have tinnitus the rest of my life. If you go to a concert bring a pair of ear plugs, you can hear the jams fine but won't be doing hearing damage.
o dont know of any after the fact protection. what i have done is what the security at these concerts do i where earplugs. i can still here the music and my ears recover much faster. i usually go to heavy metal concerts like ozzfest which can last 4-10 hours. trust me ive listened to loud music and that is the way to go. oh by the way some security will even give you some if they have a spare.
the ringing will stop as the days pass and make sure you dont listen to any loud music for at least 1 week.
Like everyone else said, wait it out.
Happened to me when I went to my first concert…the Beach Boys =P
I was so there last night, i was the kid in the singlet.
So ears usually stop within like 15 hours, but they were cranken it last night. You wern’t closer to a speaker than me you should be set by friday at the EXTREME latest.
