Does Jesus hate me? Why did he do this to me?
A few years ago I gave up paganism and became a born again Christian. I went the whole 9 yards, burning my occult books, getting rid of questionable music, and listening the Christian music exclusively. I attended church every Sunday, and sometimes Wednesdays, as well.
One day, I was going through my prayer list on the Prayer Pal program on my Palm Pilot, and praying to Jesus when I heard a roaring noise in my right ear. It really scared me, as it sounded just like someone blowing in my ear. When it kept happening I figured out that I was hearing my own heartbeat, and the blood rushing through my arteries.
Its been close to 8 years now, and I still hear this distracting noise for a good portion of each day. Its called pulsatile tinnitus. Whoosch, whoosch, whoosch. I’ve been to numerous specialists, and undergone about ,000 in tests over the years, and nobody can find a cause or provide a solution.
Jesus has done nothing to cure me through faith, and in fact it first happened WHILE I was praying to him. Never, while I was faithful, did I get relief from this problem.

Jesus has one hell of a sense of humor, doesn’t he.
A person who (assuming he existed) has been dead for two thousand years is unlikely to have any feelings about you, positive or negative.
There is a perfectly valid natural explanation, why are you looking for a supernatural one?
You’ll probably not like this. Jesus gives us sufferings here so we can become purified and go to heaven. So you could view this as a chance He is giving you to become closer to Him. If you accept this suffering as such, that is.
God bless, hope it all works out in the end.
Jesus did not ‘do that to you’, physical problems occur in people, whether they are Christians or not. God does not cure all illness, no matter how faithful you are. Why you have it, I don’t know. I wish I could help. But blaming God is not the answer. Pray for guidance, pray for patience and maybe he will help you in that way.
Your mind is doing this to you, not Jesus. Deep inside, you know what a ludicrous error xianity is. You will find peace when you abandon xianity.
There is no god and Jesus never existed. Live in the real world and you’ll be much better off. Don’t blame things on imaginary people.
if you think jesus can help you why did you go to the hospital
Fact 1) jesus was a real man who was a good STORY teller nothing more
Fact 2) There is no God of any kind
Fact 3) Your best chance of getting better is by modern medicine or you could keep praying so good luck with that
Sh*t happens. I am an atheist and I have tinnitus too.
the assumption to follow with your last words seem to imply that you are no longer faithful and you also seem to say it was healed by another source.
however, if God actually did this to you in a form of judgment the symbology could be interpreted that you were deaf, and god was angry because you willingly chose not to listen.
but God is not in the destruction of faith business.
it is more likely that your physiology broke down. or some infection corrupted your ear. look around you, body parts break down in almost everyone, especially the ears.
however another explanation could be becaue of your faith! because satanic forces or conspiracy of humans caused the ear to fail presumptuously. dont give up faith even in the face of death and beheading. many christians will lose their heads because of the mark of the beast. and then the broken ear wont mean anything. the promise in the resurrection is that we will receive a body that is incorruptible.
Well, Bob, I can’t be sure if Jesus hates you or not. I do know though, that Lucifer is willing to love you. Come back to your Pagan ways and know true happiness. Are you better off now than when you were a Pagan?
It sure doesn’t sound like it!!! (Probably especially not to you)!
Bob,
In your years of Christian faith have you ever hared about the Gnostic gospels? I ask this because Jesus is portrayed as a divine teacher who shows you how to escape the illusions which bind you to the pain and suffering of this world. He does not act as your on call physician or judge you for your past deeds. Sin is just another word for a mistake and has nothing to do with offending God. God may feel like a frustrated parent at times but he never declares war on any of his children, including the rebellious ones. That would be like giving an infant punishment for doing what comes naturally.
Often we are given divine gifts that at first feel like something akin to a kick in the teeth. Its only when we look back at the events that result from our perceived misfortune that we can see such occurrences as essential to our life’s journey. It really doesn’t matter to God what label you apply to your self as long as you are looking for him.
I don’t think Jesus hates you.
