Use an over the counter ear cleaner..ringing usually happens when something like hair or dust falls into the ear and then it rings.
You may have a middle ear infection unrelated to the use of the headphones. Better let the doctor check it out.
the ringing is called Tinnitus, I’ve had it all my life. Some basic ways to control it are to eliminate certain things from your diet – mainly caffeine and nicotine. So if you smoke or drink a lot of caffeinated beverages abstain for a day or two and see what happens.
