Yes.But so could what you take for the infection certain antibiotics and sinus meds can do that to you too.Even the drops may have that side effect. You should check your drugs for possible side effects.
Yes, it could be all related, or not.
Sinusitis is a good culprit though. Since it causes inflammation, which then makes extra sinus fluid, that then drains into your throat/ and ears, which will make them feel under pressure, or sore. it can also cause ringing.
Check with your doctor to make sure you’re not still infected, and see if you might need a nasal spray to help calm your sinus. This might help your ears.
i’ve had ringing in my ear during an infection – at one point i thought it wouldn’t go away!
it should go eventually..
i don’t know about the sinusitis…
Ringing in the ear is caused by something touching your ear drum…like wax…..
Hi Lisa,
tinnitus can definitely be caused by ear infections and sinusitis MAY be a cause of your ear infections. Sinusitis, per se, is not directly a cause of tinnitus.
Well…now what do you do.
If this ribnging in your ear persists, then you have to probably do something about it. There is no cure for tinnitus in conventional medicine, although natural herbal supplements do provide relief from its symptoms by calming your nerves.
As you also have Sinus issues, this place is too small to talk on both issues,m CSo you may visit the info articles below on these 2 problems.
remember to use the Neti Pot for your sinus though. A lot of people avoid it as they find it difficult, but lemme tell you one thing…if you use it regularly along with some yogic exercises, you will actually rid yourself from all the medications.
Good Luck!
