I've had Meniere's disease since I turned 14 and ever since my right ear has been ringing extremely loud + nonstop (I'm 20 now.) sometimes I can deal with it, and sometimes it goes for weeks at a time as very quiet. but lately it is blasting at full volume and I can't concentrate at all, I'm even losing sense of time, and listening to music or white noise just makes it louder.

I've noticed that it affects my mood, sometimes I will feel incredibly frustrated and depressed and wonder why, then realize it's because I'm bracing against it. I can't concentrate at all, can barely even think straight. it's hard to sleep is there anything I can do? I've been told that you can't treat tinnitus but seriously, any idea would be good. thanks

It just happened when i woke up, and its as bad as when i go to shows without ear plugs. But its also only my left ear, its really weird

Tinnitus help?

I am.. A tinnitus sufferer.
I've had it for a year now [Well, a few months, Cuz I finally found out what it was.. Before that, I thought everyone had it.. So I was fine.. SUCKS for me now]
I worry about it 24/7
I sometimes go into quiet rooms just to hear it, and TRY to reconize the sound.
Its a pitching sound
Not those very high ones you hear in those "What does Tinnitus sound like?" videos.
Its sorta similar to it.

I get this weird eardrum feeling in my ears when I hear loud noises, OR if someone talks in my ear/screams.
When I get exposed to that [Which is almost everyday.. Since I go to school :/] then my tinnitus turns to that HIGH pitch sound, very annoying. and lasts for about an hour.
Then it dies down, and goes back to how it was before.
My tinnitus, I hear it when im in a quiet room, with maybe a tv on.
I dont hear it in my bigger living room, I dont hear it outside
Dont hear when people are talking.
Only when theres quiet.

Help!
Is that really tinnitus
To add,
I have nasal problems where my nose gets very stuffy and I cant breath.
Its cuz I was an abuser when I couldnt breath, Atleast 5 times a day,
of Afrin Nasal Congestant.

Depending on the level of the noise I am having I have trouble with hearing. Loud and rasping sounding voices I try to stay away from.

Home remedies for a bladder infection?

I'm almost positive that I have a bladder infection. I can't go to the doctor because I don't have insurance, but My mother swears by Cranberry Juice… she says it will clear it up in a week or two. The only problem is, I can't stand cranberry juice, it's way to tart. Does anyone have any other home remedies I might be able to try?

I am 20 and I've had constant/24 hr ringing in the ears for 6 years now. I've tried pretty much anything, but have never tried a homeopathic tinnitus remedy? is there any chance however slim that it may help?

Finally doing something about a possibly impacted wisdom tooth that’s caused me problems for over 2 years now.

I’d like to know a few things if anyone can help, bear with the long description of my situation.

No actual pain in the tooth itself, just the gum surrounding the partially erupted tooth. The wisdom teeth in my upper jaw have came in flawlessly, no problems whatsoever … except for the havoc raining down from one.

Top left wisdom tooth is so jagged & sharp it’s constantly jabbing down on the lower left wisdom tooth & the surrounding gum’s, irritating my gums & causing them to swell. Usually the swelling & pain would go away with the proper care (a mix of saltwater gargles & using mouthwash, also I find a tea made from white sage leaves helps reduce inflammation some). Well it’s happened again, only this time worse. A larger area of gum-line is now effected, accompanied by a sore throat & slightly swollen lymph nodes under the jawline on the outer left side of my neck ( just under the swollen areas in my mouth ), no fever. Impossible for me to eat just about anything and very hard to open and close my mouth all the way or stick my tongue out. I can tell the lower left tooth is probably impacted, I see the molar just in front of it is raised significantly as if the wisdom tooth was slowly pulling the tooth in front of it outward, so needless to say I will be asking to have it extracted and may ask to have the top tooth shaved a little to help prevent anymore gum irritation.

Been dealing with the pain & swelling since Tuesday Oct 21 & finally got an appointment for Tuesday Oct 28, I hate to wait that long especially since it could be infected but I’ll take what I can get.

Now for the question part lol:

What, other than gargling with warm saltwater, are some good home treatments to help keep the swelling & pain at bay until I see the dentist?

Is an extraction my best method for solving this problem once & for all or are there alternatives?

I might get prescribed antibiotics since I’m pretty sure this is an infection, so what are the kinds of antibiotics prescribed for such conditions? What are the names of the typical antibiotics given for gum/mouth/throat/tooth infections?

I have some recent gastrointestinal problems resulting in weight loss & improper nutrient absorption & I take probiotics 2-3 times daily either in the form of yogurt, a probiotic cereal, and/or lactobacillus acidophilus supplements (13.3mg or 2 billion cultures) to help, I’m sure I’ll need to up the dosage when taking antibiotics.

When would be the proper time to take probiotics? A few hours before or after antibiotics? Should I take the antibiotics and probiotics with or without food? How long would I need to be on antibiotics before surgery? Is taking antibiotics recommended for someone like me who already has some GI problems?

I’ve had tinnitus in my left ear for over 10 years & a recently a bout with severe vertigo that left me incapacitated exhausted & starved for a week, I hear that the local anesthetic administered before oral surgery can actually cause tinnitus.

Does anyone know if this is true? Would this irritate my problem ear further?

After vertigo, I don’t want to risk using an anesthetic that would irritate my ear more & cause another bout of vertigo, although I am aware that this possible infection could surely do the same thing if it spreads.

Would I be prescribed any post-operative painkillers? If so, I’d like to know what kind of medication is usually prescribed after a wisdom tooth extraction?

Sorry again for the overly descriptive “questions” but I’ve been worried of this, any advice, tips, or personal experience is greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Namasté!

Does ringing usually go after ear infection?

I had my ringing start from an ear infection, inflammation and redness, I was given eardrops to treat it. The inflammation has gone but the ringing has remained although quieter.

Does it usually go and how long does it take?

Should I get this checked by a doctor? Sometimes I have a bad case of a ringing in my right ear only, and sometimes, I don't have a ringing sound.

Is this normal? Should I get checked?
